The Waterfront in Guayaquil was really nice. We went to a Red Robbin type restraunt on the river because there aren´t any good ones here and met two eagerly-talkative Americans. One of them kept hinting at all this jail time he´d done and was now a new person. He seemed quite nice. The other said he was tricked by the US government to help produce missle guidence systems for atomic bombs. He also met Chaney after 9/11 and argued with him about the Patriot Act. Chaney said, "By the time it reaches court, what you say won{t matter." Creepy.
This was in Frutibar where you buy juice by the pound or kilogram or whatever. It was huge!
