After the tour, we stopped by the beach. There were a lot of wet suits, o we didn't go swimming or anything. Muchos garbage on the beach once again. We ate popcorn. People sell small bags of it everywhere and it is becoming a routine.
Traditional fishing boats they still use here. I saw a picture of a guy surfing with one too.
Our picture of what the city of Trujillo looked like. (Its been great weather for as long as I can remember.) We spent a few days here just writing, playing guitar, watching the new new James Bond, and wasting time online. Have you been to www.huffingtonpost.com ? We would have stayed longer but we wanted to have a lot of time for Huaraz, way up in the mountains, and we are glad we did. (More on those million pictures later.)
I'm happy with how this picture turned out! I wished we'd remembered to get a picture of this rabbit that wandered around the restaurant we kept going to. There was little poops everywhere. They gave us a fake 20 and I got them back by giving them 2! There is a lot of that here in Peru, but we can kinda spot it now. Even fake coins. Did anyone else see that Beavis and Butthead where they photo copy quarters and try to buy nachos!?
At around 12:30, school gets out in Ecuador and in Peru. Millions of kids in different uniforms flood the streets and the internet cafes. It is funny to see them barter for chips with the adults at the little sidewalk shops. What the hell kid?
