InEcuador, it was all about Mary holding baby Jesus, sitting atop a throne, dressed like they hang with lil wayne. Here its strung out 33 year old purple Jesus.
Mancora was very touristy, but we loved it all the same. The ocean was warmer than the showers which was good and bad I guess. And we discovered the beer here is worse than the driving. At least I haven´t been injured in a car yet! Never thought I´d miss Ecuadors Pilsner. Pilsen sucks.
Ill use the most tranquil picture to let you know that the biggest difference here in Peru is that it is crazy. Way more crowded and the traffic is the worst I´ve ever seen.
We went boogie boarding. Someday, when we are traveling with Tom, we´ll learn to surf.
Since Bush and other world leaders were in Peru, it was a 3 day weekend and surfers from Peru and Ecaudor joined the rest of the tourists in Mancora for a crowded weekend. Here it doesn´t look like it but it was.
We stayed at a cool hostel and met a guy who made a living playing online poker. After we talked, we hung out in the hammocks next to him, listening to him loose all his traveling budget.
